Life Assurance and Income Protection

Life Assurance is provided at no cost to you by NTU. Your beneficiaries may be able to receive a lump sum worth 5 times your salary if you die while you are employed by NTU before the age of 70.

Life Assurance will be available to you (subject to being actively at work) if you join the Plan within 3 months from when you’re first able to.

Don’t worry, if you apply to join the Plan after the 3 months you can complete a discretionary entrant form for Life Assurance.

Income Protection may provide you with a regular income if you are under 70 and unable to work at NTU due to
long-term illness or injury. It can also provide you with rehabilitation services to help you return to work, if needed.

Income Protection will be available to you (subject to being actively at work) if you join the Plan within 3 months from when you’re first able to.

Don’t worry, if you apply to join the Plan after the 3 months you can complete a discretionary entrant form for Income Protection.
