Annual travel insurance
- Claim back costs associated with unexpected travel events, such as disruption, delays, loss of personal belongings, and medical expenses.
- Cover either Worldwide or European travel up to 60 days per trip and 90 days in total in any year
- Automatic cover for trips within the UK (with at least two nights' stay in pre-booked accommodation)
- Add your spouse or partner and children
- Join during the annual window (in September) or within 2 months of starting at NTU
- Payment is spread over 12 months
- Travel insurance provided by Chubb

Important information about your cover
Check the policy documentation for information and details of limitations and exclusions, along with the Group Policy Schedule which includes limitations such as any maximum age covered.
This insurance is for holiday travel and does not cover business travel.
An excess of £50 applies per person in sections noted in ‘What is Insured’ within the Insurance Product Information Document with a * symbol. See group policy schedule for full details
All members to be insured must be a permanent resident in the UK.

How can I purchase this for my spouse / partner or children?
Complete the details for your spouse / partner and children on the benefit selection form. You can add your family members at the same time as you select this benefit for yourself or during the enrolment window which is open each year in September.

Can I cancel or amend my cover?
Complete and submit a benefit selection form to cancel or amend your travel insurance. Due to the nature of this benefit, cancellation or amendment is only possible if you experience a life event (examples below), or at the end of the policy year during the annual enrolment window in September.
Life events include:
- Birth or adoption of child
- Marriage or civil partnership
- Divorce or dissolution of civil partnership
- Death of spouse, partner, or dependent child
What happens if I leave before the end of the benefit year?
Your cover will remain in place until the last day of the month in which you leave.

- Adults must be under the age of 70 at the insurance commencement date
- Children must be aged over 3 months and under the age of 18 (or 23 if in full-time education) at the insurance commencement date
